Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
They are members of the Western Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The Cardinals play their home games at University of Phoenix Stadium. The team that relocated from Chicago and then from St. Louis started play as a charter member of the NFL in 1920. Despite moving to St. Louis and then to Arizona, the Cardinals remained in an Eastern Division or Conference for years. After the AFL-NFL Merger in 1970, they were placed in the NFC East before finally moving to the NFC West as part of the 2002 realignment.
